When I think about the word encounter
It brings to mind this picture of coming face to face with somebody
In this case, coming face to face with God
And when I think about encountering God
I think about seeing love, experiencing love and experiencing joy
Because God is all of those things
The thing that I love about God is that
He's so ready to pour those things out on me, on us
Gods love is so incredible, so amazing
It's so far reaching
It's so relentless
It chases after me
Even when I choose to walk away
His love is right there to catch me
To bring me back
And see an encounter with God is life changing
An encounter with God turns your whole world upside down
Fixes things that are broken
Makes things straight that are crooked
An encounter with God rocks your entire world
And when I think about encountering God I think about
Coming face to face with the purest form of love I can ever imagine
The thing that I love about God is that He wants to encounter me everyday
Let me tell you this
God loves you
And He wants to encounter you every single day
So open your heart
He loves you
He wants to have an experience with you
That will change your entire world
